Alex and Beth
Alex and Beth Iglecia develop training, coaching and education to help people develop their strengths, health, and relationships. Using yoga, conscious exercise, meditation and holistic health counseling, their work supports personal shifts towards wholeness. They were married on February 13, 2008 in Ubud, Bali and live in Boston, MA.
Who is Alex Iglecia?
Alex works with you on many levels and brings experience from a variety of physical and mental disciplines including strength and conditioning, yoga, breath and freediving (he’s held his breath for 4:33 and dove to 100ft on a single breath), snowboarding, self defense and martial arts (he’s taught hundreds of men and women very practical hand-to-hand skills), Latin dance, a BS in Materials Engineering from Cornell University and his current MA work in Conscious Evolution (2009). Alex is an eclectic and versatile trainer who will help you integrate your body, mind and goals while pushing beyond where you’ve already been. His philosophy? “What is your goal? How do you want to evolve? Let’s get to it!”
Who is Beth Iglecia?
Beth is a co-founder of Holifit and has been involved with health and fitness for most of her life on many levels. She is a Holistic Health Counselor focusing on each individual need for nutrition, life balance, emotional well being, conscious choices, environmental well being as well as (digestive issues, allergies, overall wellness; eating for optimum energy, stress reduction and weight management). Beth is also a certified Yoga Instructor and focuses on aligning one’s body and posture, connecting one’s mind to body through breath, and creating balance in strength and flexibility. She is dedicated to helping men, women and children from all backgrounds find and cultivate a healthy and enriching lifestyle.
Beth is currently pursuing a Masters in Conscious Evolution, an interdisciplinary program dedicated to the development of a higher consciousness as the next step in human evolution, from The Graduate Institute and holds a Bachelor of Science in Leadership from Northeastern University. She is undergoing certification as a Holistic Health Counselor through the Teachers College at Columbia University as well as the Institute of Integrated Nutrition out of NY and holds her Yoga certification through Yogaworks.
