I am stoked to share that I’ll be teaching at both Avalon and Devi-Yoga for much of the summer. I’ll be teaching Slow Flow at Avalon in Palo Alto and Vinyasa/Yin and Yin/Restorative at Devi. Why am I so psyched for these mellow classes? Because they’re an opportunity for students to go beneath the surface.

Ever since teaching self defense throughout Boston for years and into training, fitness, and body-mind practices, I’ve kept diving beneath the surface of everyday experience and have found ways to access helpful and healing experiences there. These three classes, inspired by teachers like Kelly McGonigal, Paul Grilley and Jill Miller should offer an exciting and breath-improving opportunity to care for yourself.

Join me, let’s play!

What do you mean you don’t know about UZAZU? That’s okay, actually…for now!

I first found it over a year ago as Beth and I were researching some seriously profound body-mind work for our Conscious Evolution work. We found Dylan Newcomb and his 16 Ways, and as I commented in our thesis, I just didn’t buy it. I’m exaggerating, but I was skeptical. Skip forward to May 2009 and circumstances brought me serendipitously to 16 Ways Level 1. Awesome. Just awesome.

So I took level 2. That blew me away (and took a few weeks to integrate).

Recently, I had an amazing opportunity to take Level 3. OMG. Seriously. My life. Changed. Like never before both subtly and not so subtly.

Now I must tell you that I’ve snuck some of this work into my yoga (body-mind) classes to great response and results. (note: help! I need a better term than BMHT - bodymind healing and transformation…!)

So ask me about it. Check it out yourself, and get your AW-UH on!

http://www.uzazu.org

Maybe I’ll see you after Level 4……………………..
